At Jones, we take pride in the many opportunities for our students to connect with each other, their school, and their local community.
Here at Jones Elementary school we provide after many after school athletic clubs each week. The clubs will run for five weeks. All fifth and sixth grade students will be invited to participate in these clubs. It will be from 3:00 – 4:00 each Wednesday. We will learn the rules and skills necessary to participate in various sports. These are very exciting clubs!
The clubs are:
- Flag football
The students need to wear their regular school attire to all club meetings. We will play on the playground field. The students are allowed to wear cleats while playing on the field, but they are not necessary. They are not allowed to wear cleats inside the school at any time.
I expect all students to behave in a proper manner at all club meetings:
The consequences are listed below:
- Sit out
- 1 day suspension from club meeting
- 2 day suspension from club meetings
- Removal from club and not allowed to participate in any further clubs
PARENTS PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE PROMPT PICKING YOUR CHILD UP AT 4:00PM.
